That bloke from Star Trek plays the scary ruthless railroad owner… Not above pic..
– a stunning deadlock that keeps the 99% in planned poverty –
At the very core of the global Crisis and Debt-trap, we find a series of fictitious transactions – Government- bonds and Bank-bailouts – that result in the many £ / € / $ trillions of odious (illegitimate) Public Debts – also called Sovereign or National Debts – as well as in the increasing Tax-burden and intensifying Austerity and Cuts for the 99%.
The two sides of these fictitious transactions between Banks and Governments that cause the ever increasing public Debts are in fact two empty IOUs exchanged by Banks and Governments:

Everyone loves a good epithet. Charles the ‘Great’, Sven ‘Forkbeard’, Eric the, er, ‘Memorable’.
But namecalling, it turns out, is really not cool and can be very mean. So spare a thought for these six men: the Johnny-two-straps of History’s great playground.
James the Shit (King of England, Ireland and Scotland, 1685-88).
Poor James II was probably England’s most rubbish King, ever. In 1685 he inherited a state that was peaceful, prosperous, and financially secure. And yet he managed to mess it all up faster than you can say ‘David Moyes’. Never one to miss the opportunity for a strop, he chucked the Great Seal into the Thames and legged it to Ireland where he made some lovely new allies, before promptly deserting them. They showed their feelings about this through the medium of wit, and dubbed him for posterity as Seamus…

With the Arab States playing synchronised Ambassador withdrawal against Qatar, once again one is left wondering exactly what sort of World Cup tournament is going to be possible given the increasingly Islamist slant of the Government, the 45 degree temperatures, and the possibility of everyone boycotting everyone else. The assumption underlying even that, of course, is that there’ll be a world of which to be champion by then. Last night, England scraped a late goal 1-0 win over very poor Danish opposition, in a match so tediously coached on both sides I turned it off after half an hour. Our plucky boys in white have now scored just the one goal in their last three home matches. We simply aren’t good enough, thanks to Rupert Murdoch – the Undead One…

The severe weather that’s been affecting the British Isles for the last few weeks has provided a stark reminder that climate change is here and it is real. Climate change sceptics or ‘deniers’, as they are sometimes called, respond with the usual mush about how fossil fuels aren’t a contributory factor to the change in climate and how we should all learn to love breathing heavily polluted air. The ‘deniers’ are a scientifically-challenged bunch, who pretend to know more about science than they actually do. Lord Nigel Lawson is one such fellow. Lawson possesses no scientific qualifications… unless you count his degree in PPE, which includes the dismal science of economics but aside from that, he’s no scientist. He is, however, working on behalf of the very industries that are responsible for pollution and he loves to frack.
Climate change sceptics are an odd bunch. Take Brendan ‘Eddie Munster’…

Good analysis on how politicians milk the issue for their own political ends, left included.
‘Climate change is a national security issue in Britain with extreme weather attacking people’s homes & livelihoodshttp://www.theguardian.com/politics/2014/feb/15/ed-miliband-stark-warning-climate-change?CMP=twt_fd …’
This morning at 10.40 am GMT he was at it again:
‘We must rebuild the consensus on climate change and tackle this as a national security issue.http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2014/feb/15/uk-floods-climate-change-disaster-ed-miliband?CMP=twt_fd …‘
Where to start in deconstructing this mindless fascism? Let’s kick off by kicking the Guardian, as Rusbridger and the odd clique he keeps around him are as dictatorially totalitaritarian as they come. The article to which the Ed Miller Band linked is beyond belief as an example of distorted, blinkered attitudes to the data thus far available on climate change. This is the bold sub to the headline:
1. If there is a widespread agreement about the causes…

Federation scientist Cozer and his companion, the freed slave Rashel, await galactic freedom fighter Blake in the Blake’s 7 episode, Weapon.
Last Friday and today, the I newspaper has run articles reporting the impending privatisation of the Government’s Behaviour Insights Team, or Nudge Unit. The article describes the unit as using
‘insights from the emerging field of behavioural economics and psychology to subtly change the processes, forms and language used by government – to achieve outcomes that are in the in the “public good” and save money.’
A boxed article at the side then goes on to explain it more fully, stating that
‘Nudge articulates the idea that people can be persuaded to make the right decisions by simple changes in how choices are presented to them.’
It goes on to explain that the theory was first proposed in a book of the same name, published in 2008 by…

“We do not believe any group of men adequate enough or wise enough to operate without scrutiny or without criticism. We know that the only way to avoid error is to detect it, that the only way to detect it is to be free to inquire. We know that in secrecy error undetected will flourish and subvert”. - J Robert Oppenheimer.
